This a short breakdown of what each week by week lesson will include within the HealthyU 6 or 7 week transformation course. To note, each lesson also includes a short follow up period to and bespoke exercise program tailoring adn suppport. The six to seven week integrative course includes in depth, research and experienced based teaching and learning, having your own tailored exercise programming as well as being supported all along the way (be that with daily check-ins, answering questions, problem solving etc.)

    The Initial Consultation
    The initial consultation period can last anywhere from an hour to two hours (depending on how many questions we both have for another). This is a very important initial meeting, whereby I'll get your personal info and your background and recommend some initial changes. I also introduce the first components of the education block which I use for my clients. We then do a bit of tutoring on certain tools that can help and, within the next twenty four hours, I'll have your first initial set of recommendations sent over to you!

    Lesson 1 - The Calorie
    This lesson is focused on the calorie; what it is, why it's important and why it is critical to dietary success. The lesson also dives into the complexities of weight change and all the factors which go into it. In addition, we also build upon a few topics covered in the initial consultation and have a Q & A section.

    Lesson 2 - Vitamins & Minerals
    In this lesson we go in depth into vitamins and minerals, what they are, why we need them and what they do. In addition to this lesson you will also receive a complimentary guidance table about what each vitamin and mineral does as it is quite an expansive topic. This session revolves around reiterating the importance of meeting our nutritional requirements and how, if we don't, can lead to long term detriment to our health and the goals we've set.

    Lesson 3 - Protein
    This lesson is revolved around the macronutrient, protein. We discuss what it is, how it works in human physiology, why it's important and the recommendations for intake.

    Lesson 4 - Carbohydrates & Fibre
    This lesson is revolved around the macronutrient, carbohydrate. We discuss what it is, how it works in human physiology, why it's important and the recommendations for intake. In addition, we also cover fibre, what it is, how it works, why we need it and what the recommendations are.

    Lesson 5 - Dietary Fat
    This lesson is revolved around the macronutrient, fat. We discuss what it is, how it works in human physiology, why it's important and the recommendations for intake.

    Lesson 5 - Exercise Nutrition and Meal Timing
    This lesson focuses primarily on adapting our nutrition around exercise to optimize recovery and performance. We will also be covering performance supplements, meal timing and how protein distribution per meal may improve recovery. We will also discuss certain fat loss protocols that can be used when fat loss begins to slow down and or stop.

    Lesson 7 - Nutrition and the Menstrual Cycle
    This is an additional lesson for women (and men if interested). It covers the hormones of the menstrual cycle, how they can effect and alter metabolism of nutrients and how nutrition can be adapted around the menstrual cycle to optimize given goal outcomes. Training around the menstrual cycle will also be covered in brief if applicable to your interests.
